After a gap of one year, Ekhatha witnessed another magnificent successful
quiz competition organized under the banner of S4X. This time, the quiz
was decided to be exclusively based on Islamic GK to educate school background
students as well as the general people on the basic Islamic knowledge related
to our religion, belief, Prophet, Quran, prayers, Islamic civilization, etc.
The quiz was divided into two groups to facilitate participation of the
students from both the madrasa and school backgrounds.
For the first group, in which only the students from school
background or from Hifz class were allowed to participate, the questions were
kept easy considering the level of knowledge of the participants of this group.
We tried to ask them only those questions which included the knowledge every
Muslim must know about his / her belief, Qurarn, Prophet and prayers.
For the second group in which students from madrasas participated, questions
ranged from medium to difficult and included knowledge of Quran, Hadith, Aqaed,
Ebadat and Maamlat in addition to Seerat-e-Rasool. Seerat-e-Sahaba, and Islamic
civilization.
Out of 42 students enrolled for the first group, a total of 35
students took part in the competition which lasted for three consecutive rounds
going from easy to some difficult level. In the first round, four questions
were asked of each student; and 21 students who got all the 4 questions or
three questions right, were declared to qualify for the next round which also
consisted of four questions. Six participants advanced to the next level which lasted
for another three questions and finally
the judges Maulana Imteyaz Ali Nadwi and Mufti Ekram Ahmad Nadwi declared the
top five as follow:
- Mohammad Nadeem s/o Shameem Ahmad (South Mohalla)
- Abul Hasan s/o Nehal Ahsan (West Mohalla)
- Ali Ahmad s/o Meraj Ahmad (South Mohalla)
- Ashhad Hasan s/o Mohammad Hasan (Tufanpur)
- Aamir Nazir s/o Nazir Ahmad (Near Jama Masjid)
The second round, in which 18 participants took part, lasted for
two rounds. From the first round which consisted of 5 questions, 9 participants
advanced to the second and final level which included 8 questions asked of each
participant. Finally, the Judges, again Maulana Imteyaz Ali Nadwi, and Maulana
Abdul Gaffar Nadwi unanimously decided the top five contestants whose names are
as follow:
- Ahlullah s/o Ataurrahman (Karbala Mohalla)
- Asadullah s/o Ataurrahman (Karbala Mohalla)
- Sharfe Alam s/o Badre Alam (West Mohalla)
- Azeemushshan s/o Mohammad Heera, (Middle Mohalla)
- Wasem Akram s/o Khursheed Akram (West Mohalla)
Apart from the top five contestants from each group who were
presented with the exquisite prizes by Md. Motiurrahman Sb, Secretary, Madrasa
Rahmania and Qari Maulana Motiturrahman SB, Principal, Madrasa Rahmania, all
the other participants were gifted with one pen each as an encouragement.
We congratulate all the winners as well as all the participants who
dared to take part in the event. They are all winners. May Allah bless them
with long, healthy and successful life and bright future. Ameen
The competition received enthusiastic participation by the audience
as the Madrasa Hall adjacent to the Jama Masjis where the event took place was
overcrowded with students and general public. The stage was graced with the
presence of some of the dignitaries of Ekhatha, including Maulana Md. Mumtaz
Ali who chaired the competition, Razeeq Ahmad, Mukhya of Ekhatha, Maulana Aslam
Qasmi, Shabbir Zakhmi and other notable public figures.
The torch-bearer inspiring Maulana Monawwer Sultan Nadwi also
honored the occasion not only with his presence but also with his advices.
In the prize distribution
ceremony which was held after Isha, Md. Motiurrrahman sb, Secretary, and Maulana
Motiurrahman sb, Principal, Madrasa Rahmania, Maulana Imteyaz Ali Nadwi and Maulana
Monawwer Sultan Nadwi addressed the audience and expressed their impressions and
feedback. Maulana Monawwar Sultan Nadwi who has himself walked through the
prickly streets of organizing any such events in Ekhatha, brought out the
problems and difficulties hindering such events; drew the attention of
dignitaries gracing the stage to these hurdles and urged them to take the
responsibility of providing necessities required for the successful and
continuous organization of such
programs. He specially emphasized on the provision of a projector which would
help to organize quiz programs in the more advanced and visually appealing
manner. Both the Secretary and Principal of Madrasa Rahmania appreciated the
event and promised to provide the projector and other requirements for the
programs to be held in future. We appreciate them for their promise and hope
this will be fulfilled.
We thank all our audience, friends and guests who honored the
occasion and contributed to lead the event to success.
I personally have to thank Maulana Monawwar Sultan Nadwi, Maulana
Rizwan Ahmad Eshaati and Saba Arif who pushed hard and insisted to think about
